This experienced group of professionals is dedicated to making every event a smashing success.
Marketing and Management Team, The CE Group – Founded in 1990, the CE
Group: Communications & Events, is a marketing company specializing in
communications and events with a primary focus on the mission and strategic
goals of its clients. Because of their reputation for excellence, originality, and
meticulous attention to detail, the CE Group was selected to manage and lease the
Stable facility. They provide expertise in theme development, event budget &
timelines, lighting & decor, catering logistics, and entertainment & production.
Venue Manager, Margarita Valdez – a member of the CE Group, Margarita is primary
contact person for the Stable and facility operations. She is available on-site for booking
inquiries, event planning consultation, scheduled tours and smooth execution of all your
event needs. Valdez has over 20 years of experience in combined logistics, special
event planning, catering, and marketing. Most recently, she held the position of account
manager of Evento SA, an independent corporate & convention meeting and publicity
agency. She has also served as an event coordinator for Local Arrangements, Ltd., as
pub & restaurant manager for the historic Gunter Hotel in downtown San Antonio, and as logistics director for Jose Cuervo International, Ltd.
Venue Event Team – our experienced and professional on-site staff are well-trained in all areas of event production to make each occasion flow seamlessly:
- Mario Prado, CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) worked for 30 years at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio; comprehensive experience in event coordination and logistics;
- Sissy Henges, PTG (Professional Tour Guide) brings her 25+ years of extensive convention corporate & association event coordination and tour guide experience;
- Sally Harber working over 15 years in the area of Wedding Event and Decorator services;
- James Pope with more than 15 years of event staff service, office administration and customer service.
In- House A/V Team - This group of dedicated and trained professionals have handled lighting, sound and communications needs for over 20 years. From large live entertainment shows to corporate meetings and seminars, the A/V team is always on hand to troubleshoot and manage all of your technological requirements. Whether working directly with the client, or an outside AV company, entertainers and DJs, they have an in-depth knowledge of the facility’s state-of-the-art technical system.
